VR 'QTF' Bogie Tallow Wagon

Introduced into service by the VR in the early 1970’s, the QTF wagon was built to supplement the KC wagon fleet engaged in the tallow tanker transportation traffic.

The QTF wagons can be readily distinguished from the related QC/QCF/QCX wagons due to the fact that the QTF wagons can carry a maximum of 5x Tallow tankers and are marginally shorter in length (43 feet long), while the QC/QCF/QCX wagons can carry a maximum of 6x Tallow tankers and are 45 feet in length. Note that containers are not supplied with this kit.
